I won the Jason Mraz Poster Design Competition, a collaboration between Jason Mraz, Live Nation, Fox 8, Q104 and the Virginia Marti College of Art and Design. My winning poster used sepia textures to convey the raw, organic quality of his music, featured a guitar silhouette outlined from one of Jason Mraz’s own guitar, and incorporated a photograph I captured at one of his concerts. Judged by Virginia Marti College of Art and Design faculty members alongside a Live Nation team, my design was selected as the Grand Prize winner from hundreds of entries and was printed and displayed throughout the Cleveland area to advertise his concert at Blossom Music Center.
